Migrating to a new system requires a different strategy when it comes to giving your users insight to legacy data. While traditional integration moves your data from the old system to your new system is an option, it usually doesn’t make the most sense from a cost perspective.
Storing a copy of your legacy data in Wasabi and using Popdock’s intuitive interface to work with the data without moving it to your new application solves a lot of data migration problems. From a cost perspective, you’re able to take advantage of Wasabi's Data Lake storage pricing, provide the insight your team needs, and deliver legacy data access affordably. Popdock allows you to save reports for your legacy data, combine your legacy data and new system data with custom reports, and even access attachments. Your users will love that they can access all their legacy data right in their new system.
With the Wasabi connector, you can access any data that is stored as a CSV in your storage account. To get started: log in to Popdock, click “Add Connectors,” enter your storage account and authentication details.
There actually isn’t connector-based pricing. All of the available Popdock connectors are available with the purchase of every Popdock Plan. You can set up as many reports, connectors, and Popdock widgets as you’d like in all of the pricing plans. Learn more about pricing here
No. All the data lake management features (publish to and access data from data lakes) is included in the Popdock Business and Premium Plans.
Yes. Popdock takes files that are stored as BLOBs in a database, recreates them as files and saves them to the Data Lake. That way, when your users need access to them, it’s a simple click to download.
For the steps of publishing your data to the Data Lake, Popdock also gives you an option to split your files, which allows Popdock to copy multiple “sets” simultaneously to the Data Lake. This makes it a faster process when you’re initially accessing your data into Wasabi storage.
The access of your CSV data from the Wasabi connector is very efficient. Your users will have a great experience working with Wasabi data from the interface of the Popdock app or via a Popdock widget using Virtual Integration.
Using Popdock widgets, data from data lakes (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services S3,and Wasabi) can be embedded as a web resource (or iFrame) or as a link in really any application that allows that. Popdock also has a code generator to provide portlets for Oracle NetSuiteand Salesforce Visulalforce pages.
Yes, the Export to Excel option can be turned on for any Popdock list and can also be made available within Popdock widgets. One Popdock app we highly recommend is the Popdock add-in for Microsoft Excel, which allows the end user to select any Popdock list favorite available to them to bring the data into Microsoft Excel.
Yes, Popdock includes scheduled jobs in the Popdock Premium plan, so you can automate the timing for your Popdock list favorite or graph to be exported. Reports can be emailed or sent.
